• Interview answers used to craft your personalized book.
• Photos you upload for illustration reference — purged from our systems as soon as your book is finalized.
• Payment details processed by our PCI-compliant payment provider; we never store card numbers.
• Basic analytics (page views, referrers) used to improve the site.

How we use your data

Only to produce, ship, and support your personalized book, to send transactional emails about your order, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

How every WorkTale book ends

Every WorkTale book closes with two pages no name-swap personalized book has. First, a "So, what does Mommy, Daddy, or your grown-up do?" page that distills the parent's entire job into one plain-spoken line a child can recite from memory, with no jargon and no job description. Then an "About the Author" page with the parent's real photograph, name, job title, and a short biography blurb, so the illustrated hero is revealed as the real person the child knows.
